Musical First Aid Kit

These songs are part of my “musical first aid kit.” I compiled these songs to provide healing, hope and encouragement for myself and others—when we need a quick emotional fix, mental re-alignment, spiritual reminder, and attitude adjustment.
While I enjoy mellow, peaceful music as well, most of these are from the popular media. I like to look for things that are all around me that remind me of what really matters. I hope they are as encouraging to you as they are to me. Some are upbeat and some are somber. But all of them have a piece within them that can help bring us back to center. Some help us see better our own worth. Some help us better see the worth in others. Some inspire. Some cause us to reflect. Some motivate. Some bring tears. Joy and sorrow are both part of the first aid our souls require. Being able to touch both sorrow and joy and learn to balance them within us and thus center ourselves we begin to experience peace.
There are many other great songs not here. What songs teach and inspire you? Please share them with me.
Peace,
Jonathan
